چکیده
A new genus and species of cimicoid true bug, Ecpaglocoris ditomeus Yamada & Yamamoto, gen. et sp. nov. , is described illustrated from mid-Cretaceous (Cenomanian–Albian) amber in the Kachin State northern Myanmar (Burma). This fossil reminiscent members Anthocoridae by strongly flattened elongated body, four-segmented labium, distinct costal fracture presence fossula spongiosa on fore tibiae, but should not be ascribed to this family. The taxon cannot placed any extant families, based upon hemelytral, male genital other morphological structures. Based hemelytral membrane venation dorsal laterotergites abdominal segments I VIII, it can assumed that belongs extinct family Vetanthocoridae. has aberrant genitalia characterised sickle-shaped left right parameres grooves running throughout paramere. characteristic indicates traumatic insemination occurred genus. peculiar combination characteristics seen prevents its placement families.

A new genus and species of leptopodid bug, Grimaldinia pronotalis Popov & Heiss is described and illustrated from Burmese Middle Cretaceous (Albian-Cenomanian) amber originating from the northern Myanmar's Kachin State. This is the second finding of Leptosaldinae (Leptopodidae), after Poinar published on Palaeoleptus burmanicus from Burmese amber in 2009.
متن کاملCretonthophilus tuberculatus, a remarkable new genus and species of hister beetle (Coleoptera: Histeridae) from Cretaceous Burmese amber.
The early history of the beetle family Histeridae is still very obscure. In part this results from difficulty resolving phylogenetic relationships at deeper levels (Caterino & Vogler, 2002; McKenna et al., 2015a). But it is also partly a result of a sparse and poorly documented fossil record (Chatzimanolis et al., 2006). Here we describe a new genus and species of fossil histerid from Burmese a...
متن کاملTwo new genera and species of Tingidae from Cretaceous amber from Myanmar (Burma) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera).
From the Upper Cretaceous Burmese amber, the first known genera of Tingidae, Spinitingis n. gen. and Burmacader n. gen. with the species Spinitingis ellenbergeri n. sp. and Burmacader multivenosus n. sp., are described and figured. Their systematic placement and relationship to fossil and extant taxa are discussed.

Pentamyrmex spinosus new genus, new species is described, and a new tribe is erected for this remarkable insect. This is the first report of ant mimicry in the Pentatomidae.
متن کاملMummified precocial bird wings in mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber
Our knowledge of Cretaceous plumage is limited by the fossil record itself: compression fossils surrounding skeletons lack the finest morphological details and seldom preserve visible traces of colour, while discoveries in amber have been disassociated from their source animals. Here we report the osteology, plumage and pterylosis of two exceptionally preserved theropod wings from Burmese amber...
